Out of many important points Vanitaa taught to the members, she mainly emphasized on how to carry your self before meeting with the customer. The major points she mentioned were:

1. Do not walk holding a file or a bag in front of your body, above the stomach.

2. You must sit with straight posture on the chair, not to slouch on front. Not even taking the support of the back of the chair.

3. While discussing with the customer, never put your handbag in between two of you, on the table. It creates a hurdle and that gives negativity.

4. To show your confidence, always talk with the customer by maintaining eye contact. It shows your confidence to the customer.

5. Use your hands effectively while communicating. It will again boost your confidence and make your point more convincing.

Vanitaa talked about the importance of voice pitching also. One should always use voice effectively with body movements. While delivering speech our pitch should not be too low or too high, it should be audible. Keeping voice pitch in control can increase the chance of positive outcome after the meeting. She said, at the time of conversation with someone, one should not be stiff. One should use space to the fullest with full of confidence. Her body should have some movements because body gesture without any movement during conversation is very boring.

She also emphasized on the pattern of hand-shake with other people. One should hold another person’s hand firm at the time of shake-hand. It will show your interest in that person and at the same time, it will indicate that you are open for a long professional relationship with that person.

Most of the females in India takes positive complements in other way. Many times it happens that if a male counterpart is giving compliments, females start considering those compliments as a hint of sexual interest but that cannot be the case all the time! While some one is giving you complement accept it with a positive gesture of taking and not throwing it out. You should try to throw the negative comments given to you by someone and stop apologizing as you cannot make everyone happy!

Her final point to the community females was to stop being a “superwoman” all the time and start enjoying the life to the fullest! She believed in expressing own self in any situation but at the same time, one should keep the things very easy to nurture the relations.

Here you can learn 9 sitting postures which indicate your thoughts and behaviour.

Cross Legs: When you cross your leg over another leg, it seems you are feeling insecure and not confident. Because confident people never shrink like that. They spread out like they have owned the place. That said, like most rules of body language, there are situational exceptions: Crossing your legs toward someone can be a bold statement that says you’re into the person you’re cosying up to. Crossing away from someone, however, can send the message that you’re checked out.
